Cooper Buckley Ltd. was formed in November 1993 when Brothers-in-Law Steve Cooper and Frank Buckley bought out R. Atkinson Ltd. along with its all Cummins fleet. Originally located in the small village of Wybunbury we relocated to the busy Crewe Gates Industrial Estate, ideally placed for its quick links to the M6.

We quickly expanded our operations from the nine existing vehicles to our current twenty four all Volvo fleet, the majority of which were purchased from our local Volvo dealer Hartshornes (Potteries). To enable us to effectively maintain our fleet of vehicles and trailers we acquired the adjacent site, formerly occupied by Caratrans, which netted us more hardstanding and an additional workshop with a pit that easily accommodates a full length artic and trailer.

A true Family run Company,

Frank Buckleys son Paul manages our workshop in which we service all of our own vehicles along with our Customers vehicles.

Steve Coopers daughters both work for the Company. Caroline manages our Finance department and is also involved with the day to day running of the business. Claire is responsible for Tacho Analysis and monitoring vehicle defect reporting systems.
